From a sinful past to a glorious future

“Was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”

James 2:25-26

Her actions saved lives and revealed her heart of faith. Despite her background, her faith and actions worked together to reveal her as a woman who believed in God.

Most often than not, we lock ourselves up in chains for the sins we have done in our past. But the old has gone and the new has come!

By Jesus’ death on the cross, we are now on a new pedestal to change the course of history. Like Rahab, God has placed us in a position to save the lives of not only our families but of a great nation.

What are the chains you are still in bondage of?

Pray that you will be able to acknowldege that God has set you free. Ask for God to enable you to work in His mighty ways affecting generations to come.

Like Rahab whose lineage brought about the coming of the Son of God on Earth, I pray that you will have the wisdom to see the spies living in your house right now and the courage to act on God’s Word for the fulfilment of His will.

God bless you dear one.

Stay captivated,
