Victory Makati just finished its last Prayer and Fasting this October 4, 2018.
Before I slept that night, God revealed that all He wants me to do these last three months of the year is to continue running towards Him.
This was my one of my prayers.
Jesus my pursuer
God, thank you for a very beautiful and powerful prayer and fasting. Truly Lord God, you have made us finish strong this 2018.
We still have three months to go but Lord, we have already surrendered this last three to you.
And as our Prayer & Fasting ends, God, thank You for allowing my heart to surrender my love life to you. There have been days that I find it hard to pray for it, days I don’t ever think about it, days that I doubt and days that I obsess about it.
But Lord God, tonight, I put my full surrender and lift it up to You as a living sacrifice.
Lord God, now that I have been emptied out, thank You for leading me into a life that is forever being pursued by You. Married or single, all I long Lord God is for me to always go in a direction leading towards You – to relentlessly be drawing nearer and nearer to You.
And on those times that I fail,Lord I know that You won’t stop your pursuit for me because of your unending love.
Make me never forget who I am because of You.
Help me to always remember that regardless of what I have done, I am still Your most beloved child, adopted into Your Sonship.
Deliver me oh Father God. Save me from my sins. And help me live a life that is honoring and glorifying You.
Be my guide in leading people closer and closer to you. Use me as a salt and light in my circle of influences.
As a tradition of our collective co-ed small group, we celebrate “surprise” birthdays and do honorings.
This is a practice where we share how we met the celebrant, first impressions, how the relationship grew, how that person changed our lives, how he grew in Christ, giving words of encouragement, etc.
It was Kuya Tommy’s birthday last Saturday and we decided to surprise him last Thursday.
I got a lot of nice photos that is just worth the share!
And to see the old Kawangis (the CoEd VGs collective name) back together with a few new faces, I just can’t NOT share one of our best nights this year.
We always buy at Cake2go so let me know if you’d like for me to make a review on their cakes by sharing this post and/or commenting on this post!
Thank you Lord for the shared lives with each and every one in this picture. Continue molding us to be like you as the VG’s name suggests, Kawangis Kay Kristo or Image and Likeness of Christ.
