Just got home from one of the best weddings I’ve witnessed yet.
In this wedding, the bride and the groom made me believe in forever again. Beautiful vows were shared reminiscing a life of hopelessness in a city far from home and finding a love that is now, on this blessed day becomes the bride’s home.
This wedding is a testament of Jesus’ love for the church.
In Ephesians 5, verse 21, we read, “Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives be subject to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, His body, and is himself its savior. As the Church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.”
Blessed new beginnings to the newly weds!
Also, wouldn’t miss a chance shamelessly adding my pics below from the ever beautiful Fort Ilocandia Resort and Casino
Feels so good to be back in my hometown. Laoag City will never be replaced in my heart.
Feels even better to go home with my people. Those who have stayed with me through all the seasons of my life, in my ups and downs, in the good and in the bad.
The wedding is not just a ceremony that we attended, it’s an opportunity for us friends to look back at the things we have been through and see a future of love, kindness, loyalty and a forever friendship.
I don’t know how life would be without this people who keeps me grounded; this people who makes it easier to laugh at the mishaps of life and who inspires me to believe that life has something beautiful to offer as we wait upon the Lord.
I maybe single right now but I am at the most perfect place to witness love and life, losses and wins, tears and laughters as I share it with my friends.
Thank you to both of my married friends Nina and Nath for making me part of their biggest days as women walking down the aisle.
To witness their first meals as a couples – scenes only the intimates can see – moments not shared to the public, makes me believe that this friendship will truly transcend time and place.
Don’t we just get so emotional during weddings?
*sniffling a cry
I’ll see you again soon!
I was truly captivated last night,
