Letting go of the perfectionist in me this 2018 – Part 2

As I traveled last October to Eastwood to visit my sister, I had no idea where the bus will drop me off, how far the drop off point is from CCF and Microtel.

I opened up my Google Maps to plan every minute detail of my visit there. Find out what happens next…

In relation to last week’s post, I also learned spontaneity.

LESSON 2

I learned not to plan too much

For a time this year, I have prepared week after week after week of birthday celebrations – and trips – and what-not’s.

As I traveled last October to Eastwood to visit my sister, I had no idea where the bus will drop me off, how far the drop off point is from CCF and Microtel.

I opened up my Google Maps to plan every minute detail of my visit there, I heard God’s small whisper and told me to just enjoy this time to explore this new location.

I ended up drinking tea and blogging about this series in advance.

Making the classic tita move of ordering tea at Books and Borders Cafe because of the beautiful rainy weather outside!

And because it’s the perfect blogging drink at this time of the day!

(check out my review here: Have a look at this review of Book & Borders Cafe, Libis, Quezon City on @Zomato — http://zoma.to/review/39604395)

There is beauty in just letting go with the flow.

There is joy in living in the moment.

There is peace in not knowing the next move, the next step, the next destination.

Be free!

Check out the last part of this series next week!

Happy New Year!
