Ilocos’ Hidden Gem

This has definitely been one of my best vacations yet!

My heart has been a but broken and shattered by a few happenings early this year and I have prayed fervently for God to heal back home.

Arriving at La Virgen Milagrosa Chapel in Badoc, I was astounded by the serene beauty of the chapel overlooking the sea. Birds chirped as I sat down the wooden pews casting shadows on the aisle as the sun rose from the East.

Down below where this photo was taken was the shoreline inside a cove facing the South China Sea. The clear waters were calm as little fishes swam unmindful of me.

I prayed and sang worship songs alone by the sea and I just received the newness of my heart that comes only from God.

Little did I know that this was only the start of a beautiful day.

I think that the place is just too beautiful to be put into words so I’ll make this a photoblog. No filters were added. I SWEAR!
