There are days when planning for the wedding just gets really hard. Days like these when:
15 January 2020 – you have no clue
16 January 2020 – and you just cry about the littlest things
18 January 2020 – then your venue calls 15mins after confirming that your preferred venue date has been sold to another due to miscommunications
But truly, our God is faithful for time and time again, he sends people, Word and confirmations to make you believe that “Child, I am with you always.”
Psalm 139 has been really close to mu heart in the past weeks reminding me that God sees me. God knows the intricacies of me. Thus, God is with me and has gone before me in my journey towards the altar.
I know for sure that when I will say
“I do” on 7 June 2020, God is with us.
I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this.
Psalms 139:14 GW
So amidst the major list of things I need to do down to the minor tidbids of this wedding planning (do I really have to make decisios over tiffany chairs or ghost chairs?), peace is within me knowing that I can lie in green pastures (Psam 23 – fiance’s devotion)
I pray that in whatever season you are in right now, you can find the grace to be still and know that He is God.
Now let me go back to counting botounnires and checking how each one costs.
